I have come to loath facebook. I soon realized how many people I was glad for our lives to part when they did. Not to be a jerk, but that's just it: Facebook becomes too personal. And it becomes time-consuming.
The point is, I'm breaking free from the bonds of internet "club houses" that I've indulged myself in. So here's the question I wanted to ask: how do I sign into GDnet without facebook?
Logging into GDnet without facebook
I don't think you can. Just kidding. I guess log out of facebook then register.
It is I, the spectaculous Don Karnage! My bloodthirsty horde is on an intercept course with you. We will be shooting you and looting you in precisely... Ten minutes. Felicitations!
Go to your username in the dropdown in the menu and select "My Settings".. then change your password. I think that should do it.
Alright, so a few technical problems occurred with me, but so far so good:
After changing password to a local password and disconnecting my profile from facebook, somehow the username changed to my email address.
So that's something you should be aware of whenever doing such things (random fluke?)
Anywho, thanks.

I'm that imaginary number in the parabola of life.

This is probably because it didn't have a username to fallback on. Since it needed to fill in that field with something, it picked the next most likely thing, which is your email address.
In time the project grows, the ignorance of its devs it shows, with many a convoluted function, it plunges into deep compunction, the price of failure is high, Washu's mirth is nigh.
