Differences in Sales patterns for Digitally distributed games

Does anyone have a 12 month+ graph showing sales of a game distributed solely or partially via digital channels? I am doing a 12 month financial forecast for our studio and I have a plethora of stats for games launched at retail with big upfront marketing pushes but not for an indie game launched digitally. Traditionally you would see 50% - 75% of your overall sales in the first year occur within the first 2 months because of the amount of time these games would stay on shelves and the fact that the publisher would spend all their money on advertising up to launch and then it would drop off sharply 1-2 months after launch. Digital changes all that as word of mouth is a huge factor and sales might start slow and then creep up as more and more people tell their friends(also a factor for traditional games but I'm guessing it's a lot bigger one for digital only games). All of this would make for very different sales patterns and this is what I'm after! If anyone has any links to articles or blog posts from studios talking about sales numbers(not an easy tthing to find I know) with their digital releases please feel free to share. I haven't had much luck finding em outside of this one : http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/29788/Torchlight_Sales_Well_Over_600K_Primarily_Downloads.php
