It's still in the pre beta stage, it only needs some more people to commit (committing is really easy, is like a vote). It would be a great place where there are already many 3D artwork making experts, professionals, ready to answer any of your questions about 3D (for free). I don't need it as a resource, as I am experienced in 3D artwork making, but I know it can be useful to many.

For both experts and less experienced people in 3D art (programmers knowing little about 3D, etc) it can be an interesting place to ask, find answers, etc. There will surely be many basic questions, but also hard to find answers to more advanced questions, providing with tricks you would rarely find somewhere else. It tends to work like this in these places.
