I don't see how it's DnD-ish, but even if it is I still like it!

It's just an observation. I just know that if I met someone in real life and they introduced themselves by saying, "I'm seth, but you can call me Azrial," they'd have a much higher hill to climb for my approval than someone that introduced themselves as just seth. I'm also somewhat of the opinion that if you have a nickname that isn't just shorthand for your given name they should be given to you by someone else rather than coming up with your own.

Oh, I can understand where you are coming from. The only time I actually use this nickname is for online.

OK, don't use it in real life. Even though people at the game industry are casual and love DnD, you still have to behave and act professional. Go ahead and use it for your DnD sessions with your friends.

Game companies can be found everywhere, but they tend to cluster up here in Southern California. I'd suggest brushing up your skills as much as possible, and try to get yourself involved in some project just to get a feel of what game development feels like.

Do expect long hours. Like, really long hours...
