After you posted that she was legit I was like WHAT? So being that we have nothing to do at work, we started researching:
Some basic searching came up with:
http://www.modelmayhem.com/1369631
http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/americas-army-3/credits
Shes from emeryville on her model page, and she is listed in the credits as well as the emeryvillle police department. I think shes getting 67/hr to perform other tasks.
Remember 'tighten up the graphics' ?

We've already established that she's a liar. She's claiming on video and on her web site that she gets paid $67 to "design" and/or "develop" games, when she is listed as an artist.
I don't work in the industry but I imagine saying you "develop" or "design" games as an artist is akin to saying you produce or star in movies when you are a camera guy.
Clearly fake, she's too hot.
Also, wait, you guys are saying $67/hr in The Bay is a lot? Isn't that the going rate for freelance/contract work?

I've heard from a few sources that that's about the median pay directly out of university for a highly-qualified developer at Google. So it's not a lot for the Bay area, but it does put you in the reasonably elite.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Why couldn't a geek female developer also model on the side?
The implication here is that only ugly girls go into development.
Look at male developer profiles: "photographer, musician, designer, programmer, climber, painter, writer". It's almost as if programming is a mere afterthought these days.
And someone being well paid? Why not. If you can not only develop, but can also serve as public face, your price instantly doubles. Same for Google or other companies. Tech skills are just baseline and salaries for those are usually low. But have a persona, and you suddenly become much more desirable with salary to compensate.
Because I don't think a 300lb. Mountain Dew fueled neckbeard in Star Trek shirt would be something companies would like to showcase to attract people. That too defines one's value.

Its also just as wrong to give people the impression there are large breasted, decent looking girls everywhere in game development in the hopes of attracting zit faced virgins to enter a dubious program. Maybe there are and I just work at the wrong place. If anybody does work at such a place give me a PM so that I may submit a resume.

AHAHA someone at work figured this out, no idea how. Again waiting to ship a title so we don't have anything to do but fix bugs when found. Well there you go everybody start applying to Sanzaru games so we can make well artist salary + .25*artist salary = programmer salary. So I guess 80/hr sounds about right.

NBA2K, Madden, Maneater, Killing Floor, Sims
I think that we can demonstrate that she's a fraud (or actress, if you prefer) with a simple look at the other stuff that youtube channel is pimping. It doesn't matter how attractive she is, or what pay is in her area, when the company that put those videos up on youtube, ostensibly to promote their business, also posts this. Even if she really does work at a game studio, and actually does what she says (albeit a bit deceptively), she burns a lot of credibility working for ScamCo.
That also sounds sort of like a scam to me. No amount of dishonesty in the OP video would surprise me.
