I am curious if this is possible.

I want to be able to run a game on my desktop and play it on my laptop.

All I need is some kind of VNC client software that supports sound, anyone know any?

Without sound it's not even close as good.

The laptop on the LAN can ping the desktop in 2ms average.
To get 60fps that should be (1000/60) 16ms max.
Since I am getting way under that I sould be able to get 60 fps.
I do understand there are bandwidth concerns too though.

So I am basically looking for something to screen share Video and the PC's audio over a LAN.

Anyone know of such software that is good?

I have real VNC but no sound support

scroll down to features and look at the sound support column
[size="1"]I don't suffer from insanity, I'm enjoying every minute of it.
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!

What you want is essentially local OnLive.

If the video FPS is good for your remote desktop software, you could solve the sound problem by getting wireless headphones and having the headphone transmitter plugged into your desktop.
