I know it was at gdc last year. They desperately needed a better game to demo than the one they were using.

Looks cool, and you could probably have it in a smaller living than you would need for kinect

One of the problems I noticed watching people playing is that you can't go that fast because the combination of not being able to see where you are actually walking, the momentum of the sphere, and the slight incline would cause you to fall over pretty easily. I vaguely remember people getting yelled at for trying to run inside it.
