Play Improviso -- M.I.T. Media Lab Data Collection Game

The M.I.T. Media lab and the GAMBIT game lab have released their latest "data collection game". Very much like The Restaurant Game, Improviso collects data from many users in order to build "characters" that can act out a cheesy Sci-Fi movie autonomously. You can download it and be a part of it over and over again -- with each playthrough sculpting the eventual behaviors of the characters and the movie as a whole.

Love it. A game like this is a great idea even if A.I. was out of the picture. Out of curiosity, What all do researchers aim to learn from the trained system?

I can see some serious market research come out of this.
