Hey there, people! My name is Remi, and I'm a High School music student that dabbles a bit with Composing. I've written a few concert pieces and started mapping a concept for a stage production, but I've also been interested in Game music. I guess I just really want to know more about getting started in the industry of Indie Game Music. Such as... How to start collaborating with game designers to produce music that would fit in a game, and the various types of legal issues (Non-/Exclusive Rights, Royalties, etc.). Any help on these topics would be very much appreciated!

And if anyone is interested in my music, I don't have things such as my own website or a formal portfolio yet. The closest thing I have to a Portfolio is my SoundCloud page. I work in Finale 2011, though I have the equipment to dabble in Synths and more Acoustic recordings. I'm starting to experiment with new things using Finale and other Audio Mixers, but I prefer the more realistic sounds that Garritan can produce.

Anyways, I hope you guys can help me out, and maybe I'll end up writing some things for you guys at some point.Peace - Remi
