I am not sure if anyone here has been following 3DBuzz lately but today starts the first day the their Unity MMO "Class". It is much more than a class on just programming as it is going to also cover the whole development process from design, asset creation, and programming. They are going to be using Unity as the game engine and Photon for the server socket with extensive use of C# for programming. I have some pretty high hopes for this class and 3DBuzz never fails to impress me with the training content they produce.
Right now the class is closed but if you want you can sign up as a member sponsor and they are going to be starting a waiting list very soon (and in the mean time have access to the already 100's of hours of content for 3D/2D/Programming they already have).
Anyone else in this class from these forums?
PS. I am in no way affiliated with 3DBuzz, just a very excited student of the class and just wanted to spread the word.
3DBuzz's Unity MMO Class Begins
Registration closed yesterday...lol.
They hated on Jeezus, so you think I give a f***?!
now that someone mentioned unity and mmo on the same line, i think there a some tools that help making mmo using unity. some of them are free to try up to three player, i think.
in seems that just like technology reduces hardware and software prices (remember maya price 10 years ago? and the hardware needed to run it, indigo anyone?) the same thing is coming to mmo. what stopping indie is asset, while the rest is scalable as they gain more user.

Well, that's one good way to make a tons of money.
