Spilt Cola on PC
Thanks for the replies,
Anyway, i cleaned my mobo up with using a light cloth with some vodka and Cleaned any cola residue.
When i switch my comp on, it repeatedly kept switching on went on for a couple of second and then switch its self off.
So what i guess was that the mobo was fracked. Bought my self a new and now the comp starts up but no bios kicks, nothing at all on the screen. Though all the fans, hardrives(i think), dvd drive and lights are running on.
Anyone have any ideas, some people says it PSU but im beginning to think its the CPU.
Help!!!!!

Congratulations, you're a moron. I'm amazed you still have a working computer.
yeah, should have not followed my flat mates advice on the cleaning with alcohol :( for future case people, using facial cleansing wipes or baby wipes, works like a trick

there is more in vodka than alcohol. Rubbing alcohol or perhaps some super high proof grain alcohol would have been a lot better than vodka. Grain alcohol would have still been bad though.
Keep in mind that "alcohol" is not a chemical, it is a family of chemicals.
Ethanol (the alcohol found in alcoholic drinks) is not good for electronics, generally because it is blended with sugars and other substances from the beverage itself, which can cause corrosion or short-circuits on the PCBs/etc.
Methanol (wood alcohol) is bad juju just because it can cause severe health problems, like permanent blindness. Don't mess with methanol.
Rubbing or sterilizing alcohol (aka isopropyl alcohol) is great for electronics. It'll act as a mild solvent to dissolve all the crap that you don't want gunking up your circuits, and won't cause any corrosion or other damage itself. Your best bet is the stuff you can get from your local pharmacist/druggist for cheap; it's typically diluted in water and fairly safe as long as (A) you use it in a ventilated area and don't breathe it and (B) you keep it the hell away from any type of heat source. You can get nasty poisoning effects from isopropyl alcohol, as well as cause explosions, so don't screw around.
Be exceedingly cautious about higher-purity forms of isopropyl as well. As mentioned before, it is typically found diluted for safety reasons, but highly pure isopropyl can cause skin damage, respiratory irritation/damage, and violent explosions, so don't go raiding your university's chemistry lab for the stuff if you just want to scrub down your Nintendo 64 cartridges.
