hi,
i just want to know what's China like in your eyes. btw, i'm a native Chinese, willing to answer questions about Chinese culture, food, people, games ...etc. maybe not so professional as you think :D
OK. Here is a question.

When will Hu Jintao convince the North Koreans to give up the bomb?

N korea doesn't have any chance to use the bomb if some countries leave them alone.
凡是我的同事都是中國人。我覺得一般美國人對中國和華人的感覺很好 (大家都喜歡中餐 ;)), 但是對中國的政府制度沒有信心。你呢?你去過美國嗎?你覺得怎麼樣?

For real?
Pretty much nothing.
Yep, I'm totally ignorant, besides the things media tells me which I take with some salt and generally discard after some quick internet checking.

What I know for sure it's the 'C' in "BRIC" and kicking world economy worldwide. So the only thing I could question right now is:
How did the raise of nation's economic power affected quality of life, in general?

well, the life of common people has been improved as the wealth of nation grows. but now we suffer some inflation which makes the money seems less a bit. Generally, the government invest heavily on the public facilities that we can benifit obviously.
is new year a good time to holiday in beijing? 2 guys in their 20's looking for a party or 2.
Everyone seems to think China is going to be the next or one of the next world superpowers. I personally think that your language will be the biggest barrier, as it is one of the hardest to read, speak, write, etc. Is there any discussion on changing to a phoenician alphabet system? What percent of your friends/relatives speak and write English?
Do you think that the Chinese government will in the next 50 to 70 years start to resemble the current US/Western Europe style of government in terms of democracy and the rights and privileges it provides? Also, how do the Chinese feel about Tibet and semi-autonomous status?

And what do you all do for a good time? Are any of those activites common to the rest of the world or are they Chinese specific?
