Okay, here it goes since I'm not used to LA / Hollywood yet.

Back here, we tend to, in a way, know where actor / actress live, since they, well, settle, and neighbors talk. For example even my own sister lives not that far (around 1 or 2 minutes by car) from the most famous singer in our country.

Now back at Hollywood.

I once saw a movie where in a scene people sell famous people house map to tourist. I mean, with all those paparazzi, and famous location such as MJ Neverland ranch, how can you not know where famous people lives?

Is that true? I mean, if I went to LA as a tourist - I can actually buy this kind of thing? And if I want to know where Annette O'Toole / Michael McKean lives, I can get that info from them?

Of course, going in or even talk to them is another story. I mean, it's like walking around outside White House area. To be IN the white house (or surrounding area), or talking to the president, is another matter. But like visiting the outside of White House (or MJ Neverland ranch) , it's sure fun, - going - oh, so that's where MJ lives (if you visit it long time ago, that is).

Now that I mention talk, we now moves into another territory.

How do I know who to talk to to have access to them? I mean, I've been reading about some actor/actress and found out some of the popular ones (even the expensive ones) are willing to act in student project for free. But my point is this, let say if I got an idea, and I'm sure it's something they are willing to do for free or cheap, who do I contact? Back in Malaysia, we have Karyawan - it's like a one stop shop to have access to artist, you know, like if your company is doing a dinner and you want certain artist to sing and all.

But in the US? Who should I contact? How do I know who Annette O'Toole / Michael McKean agent is? Last time I checked I think a website mentioned that ICM Los Angeles is her agent, but current ICM Los Angeles website didn't even mention her name. So maybe she changed agent, or maybe, at her age (and Wikipedia entry shows she not active much these days), no longer have an agent.

Next year one of my serious project -go-for-broke- (now that I resigned) is to set up a limited liability company and plan to do a music video project, and I plan to feature her (and her husband). This is for the fact both her and her husband was nominated (but did not win READ: cheaper) for grammy (I think) for their 'Kiss At The End Of The Rainbow'. Still working on the funding, and I already contact local song mechanical licensing company.

So, how do I contact Annette O'Toole / Michael McKean?

First off, I did my research, and managed to contact John Scheinder, and missed the opportunity to buy (for charity) Allison Mack signature. But these two have their own websites.

How useful is IMDB pro? or ContactAnyCelebrity.com? Specially if the celebrity is, becoming slowly inactive.

My idea is not like above, and as for Annete, it would be great if I know her price so that, add with the mechanical license and all, I can write a well researched project paper.

BTW - I know officially people don't provide celebrity house address, but like I said, they settle down, and like MJ ranch, sometimes you just can't miss it. So some people -do- have the info, and -do- willing to sell it :-)

According to Michael McKean Biography, his agent is Jenny Delaney with the William Morris Agency. Here's the same for her. If you're in Los Angeles also check the library for celebrity reference books. Whatever you do, you don't want to come across like a stalker, so start by getting in touch with his/her agent. Los Angeles is not Malaysia.

it seems that Annette O'Toole agent IS ICM LA, and I've tried that address before, but the address of her manager is new info for me.
