Anyone see this yet? I've accomplished nothing at work due to my building being across the street. Here are the demands he is requesting:

NBA2K, Madden, Maneater, Killing Floor, Sims

Those are... amazing... demands. It's clear that this person is completely crazy. I hope this ends well..

They should dispatch Bear Grylls to handle the situation.

Quote: 11. You're also going to find solutions for unemployment and housing. All these unemployed people makes me think the US is headed toward more war.

Humans are the most destructive, filthy, pollutive creatures around and are wrecking what's left of the planet with their false morals and breeding culture.

Yes, that's actually right next to each other. Find solutions for unemployment and housing... for the destructive, filthy, pollutive creatures. Wouldn't "building homes" be wrecking the planet? ... . ..

Yeah

Wow this guy REALLY hates babies....
I wish I had those few minutes of my life back that I wasted reading that...

I don't think I've read a less well-thought out article in my life. He could have just said that we all need to be castrated, get rid of immigration, not eat, and not start fights.

This guy is crazy, can't wait to see what happens...

Don't forget squirrels and froggies.

If he thinks there are too many humans on the planet, maybe he should start by removing himself from it...

Well, it's over.

Dpadam450, did you see/hear anything ? Supposedly some explosive device went off.
You know, the guy does have something of a point - overpopulation is definitely not helping with humanity's problems, and reducing the population will almost certainly have a positive impact. I could see population becoming a huge issue at some point. But I don't think wallowing in misanthropic angst is the way to do that. Is the guy still in high school?

The sad thing is that I could see people of my generation doing something like this, because most of those views can be easily be derived from the things we were taught in school. I knew people a bit like this, when I was a teenager - in factI myself was a little of the militantly atheistic, humans-are-stupid-violent-and-evil type misanthropic. I used this fact to (knowingly) troll my peers in philosophy classes. What frightened me a little was that I got no disagreement. These views seemed quite common, especially among "activist" types who were more vocal about the specific issues they were interested in. So, none of what this guy's saying is at all new to me except for the intensity of it.

The fourth chapter in Natural Resource Conservation (10th edition) is titled "The Human Population Challenge". Outlines the problem pretty well. I could list off the stats of how much garbage 1 human baby creates over its lifetime, but it's pretty obvious if one looks at their own life. I've always liked the idea of a one child policy, but obviously that's still viewed as "the government is controlling us". meh

The guy isn't far off base, but obviously he went a bit too far with his ideas.

Also that guy is spot on with the TLC clown car show. I watched an episode of it and their family is like hardcore conservative. Like 6000 year old earth religious conservative.
So he got shot. At least he got one of his demands partially fulfilled.
[size="2"]I like the Walrus best.
