Ars Technica seems to think it works well. Personally, I'm going to need to play an in-store demo before I make any purchases.

Although, I do admit that watching 3D movies on this thing seems like a bargain compared to watching on a $5,000 Sony 3D TV, even with the small screen.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of portable gaming (even though I own a PSP), just cause the screen's too small. If I really wanted to play a game in-flight, I'd just take out my laptop and play some computer game. I occasionaly play my PSP, but it's pretty rare.

As for the 3DS, it looks like another fad. There's been about three DSs' before this, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. I really don't see the point of having 3D on a portable game console.
