is there something like
… some guy (an enthusiast) willing to create a prototype for a knockout video game just to advertise him/herself and better his/her Resume? I believe I have that “knockout game” concept but I’m not a video game designer. Yes, I have a college degree, but not all college graduates are computer programmers or video game designers. It is one thing to design an obscure game that will interest (/be played by) 13 people (including your grandma) and a complete different story to associate your name with a game played by 130,000,000 people. I believe my video game will hit the shelves no later than this coming Christmas cuz, among others: 1. Its target market/market size is over 400,000,000 and growing; 2. A vaguely similar game (compared to which mine is light-years above) received a 2006 MENSA Select Award and was a 2007 T.O.T.Y. Game-of-the-Year Nominee. Mine is designed to win both competitions. I have numerous Intellectual Properties at the Library of Congress, WDC, and I’m considered very creative. Been on TV (for over six years), newspaper, radio, ads in amusement parks but I’m not a video game designer. I recently relocated to Vegas where I have no connections. I believe that my best bet is Konami (see 11. at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_publisher) but I know that it’s better to have a prototype when you submit an unsolicited idea. P.S. no fighting, car chases, shootings, gang rapes, explosions, torture, catastrophes, etc. My game is really easy to design. The prototype is even simpler. Anybody?
the short answer is: I graduated the University of Electronics and Telecommunications (5 years of college). I worked in R&D designing logarithmic antennas and antennas fields. But that still doesn’t make me a video game designer
Video game designers work in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Excel etc... I'm sure you've got enough training to do that...
Once you've got the design work in a solid state, you can either:
A) Hire some developers to create your prototype under NDA.
B) Make enough of the design public to attract hobbiests to work on a prototype for free. Yes, to get people to build your idea for free, you're going to have to make it somewhat public.
Sorry to tell you that ideas on their own have no value. Even if you just share the gist of it, that shouldn't matter as you've still got the detailed designs to yourself, right?

Quote:Wait, what? It's not even being developed and doesn't have funding, a publisher or a developer signed up, but it's going to complete pre-production, production, QA, localisation, printing and distribution in only 6 months??

. 22 Racing Series .
I'm not quite sure, I registered one hour ago and I was in a rush to ask the question. Was it?
Hodqman: it’d take Konami no more than a month to make my game good to go. A decent prototype can be made in 3-5 days. If I won’t have a prototype in two weeks I’ll send my unsolicited proposal anyways. I’m a gambler: that’s why I moved to Vegas after mafia banned online gambling in US
Not 100% sure, but I believe Konami Vegas is more Casino-cabinet oriented.
I don't understand the question.
