Game programming camping. I decided to put a tent over my cubical in an effort to achieve the optimal lighting and comfort level. :) It's pretty sweet so far. Next to add is the Igloo cooler and yard chairs. We already have the mini disc-golf. Before: After: * For those of you concerned about heat. -There is a large vent blowing down above my desk tent. -The tent is propped off the back of the monitors 3 inches with gift cards. :) -The xbox has a foot of space around it and is turned off at night. -Its power supply is outside the tent in the culmination of the ceiling vent flow. -The shape of the tent and the cubical walls create a flow of air across my desk and up the displays making the environment actually feel cooler than before.
Watch out for bears, they might smell the food in the cooler and get curious. Also I hear they are attracted by the color orange, so you might want to pick another color for the tent :-o

You sir, are apparently made of win.

Is there space anywhere to put a small simulated fire pit with some kind of heat gun in the middle on which to roast marshmallows??

I saw a similar thing at Googles Sydney office ;)

They had an IT help office place, and desks where IT guys were supposed to be able to work without people asking them how to print things.
Apparently, this destinction between the two IT areas wasn't clear to everyone, so they'd put up cammo netting over their cubes and warning signs around the entrance telling people to go upstairs to the help office.
I hope you didn't forget to fix a shotgun under the desk to fight off "invaders"?
You sir, are a crazy person.

I also like that box that sits on your desk in the first picture. Is that made of wood?
