I starting up a site to provide models of buildings and objects for game worlds, and was wondering what the community would like to see? Here is some of what I have so far: Included in the model zip would be the following: Texture maps included in various formats: File Formats: .jpg, .tga, .dds Models: 3DS MAX - .max DirectX - .x Milkshape - .ms3d Various categories, such as - Buildings - Nature - City Objects ( Signs, Street Lights, ) - Space - Weapons - Animals / Creatures - Humanoids - Raw Textures - World Objects ( Boxes, Trash, Flower Pots ) - Vehicles Model request form for when someone needs a specific model not found on the site. Pricing: ~$2.50 per model for low cost versions. Individual License: Free for simple objects and low cost for more complex models. Commercial License: All low cost, collections with extra unique content available. Donations accepted. Custom modeling services available. Collected proceeds would go back into supporting the site and the hired modelers (yes, they are paid, even it it is out of my own pocket :) Ability for individuals to have their work posted, community submitted models would be provided free of charge. Does anyone have any requests for such a site since I am making it with this community in mind? Oh, and it's being made as a hobby, not a profit :)
