Damn now i wish i had bought one of those Win32 books! Does anyone know how to make one of those Save As boxes pop up so i can get the filename through it?

GetOpenFileName and GetSaveFileName are the functions you are looking for by the way.

Well actually i figured out how to do that cause i have MSDN on cd =) but is there anyway to do that while using directx fullscreened?

As far as I know, MSDN tells you how to do Windows dialog boxes while under directx...
