2 questions on UV mapping in blender

Hey! 2 quick questions regarding UV mapping in blender. 1) how can i make blender select a face or vertex in 3D view when i select the face or vertex in the UV/Image Editor?. 2) how do i save the UV layout to an image? Thnx in advance!
2) Once your UV layout is set, go to the UVs menu -> scripts -> save UV face layout. It should let you save the layout as a .tga

Thnx BCullis. That answers my second question and it works fine.

now all that remains is:

1) how can i make blender select a face or vertex in 3D view when i select the face or vertex in the UV/Image Editor?
Its just a little button at the bottom of the uv window, looks like four dots connected in a square. Tooltip: "Sync UV and Mesh Selection"
