Where to find rigged/animated character template for avatars in 3d world?

As a hobby game developer I do not want to spend much time on creating my 3D art so I decided to hunt some freebies. I am programmer, so I could not create good-looking 3d art anyway. I can find lots of stuff for 3d world items and props, but I am stuck on choosing a good template model for in-game characters. What I would like to find: - a man model - nothing fancy, some businessman or so; - not too low poly count - I am not creating FPS (it will be more something like Sims-style), so I'd prefer some mid-quality mesh/textures; - textures mapped nicely, so I can easily edit them (I tried some auto-generated human models, but they have really messy textures); - separate textures for face, hair, upper body, lower body; - animatable bone structure; - separate bones for fingers; - facial animation support; - it would be great to have also some standard animations - walk, run, idle, picking things up, also morphs for some facial animations; - multiple LODs also would be great; Format - OBJ, Blender or 3dsmax or anything I can successfully convert and use with Blender. I'll use the model (and its customized clones) with Ogre3D engine. I tried various 3d software for generating human models, the iClone fits almost all of my needs, I can easily create various character faces...except iClone has no export feature :( Also I would like to hear some success story or to have a link to some article where such a free human model template is used to create customized models and imported into some game engine. What tools were used? What are usual mistakes to avoid when customizing the certain human model? Thanks for any ideas. [Edited by - midix on April 3, 2010 6:21:34 AM]
Well, you are looking for the holy grail almost every hobby developer is looking for :-) It would be great to see a post of you, if you find something like this , which meets your requirements.

In the meantime take a look at the quiwi man and turbosquid, maybe you're lucky and find something useful.

Good luck.

Thanks for suggestions, I have already seen some of those models, but there are also some new.
I guess then I'll try to get some parts and combine them all together to get something complete.
