What kind of process is this? (Involves exporting a mesh and textures)
Hi guys.
Sorry for the thread title I didn't know what else to call it.
I was learning texturing in Maya and was trying to export my mesh and textures to use in Unity. Well, when I export as a Maya .db file, nothing shows up. If I use the .fbx exporter I get an error saying that the textures could not be exported and it shows up gray.
I was trying to find a tutorial on exporting and making sure everything is included but every time I google the for tutorials I keep running into sites wanting me to download plugins.
Also I noticed that when exporting I don't have bump maps, and textures, and materials. I think this may be where I am going wrong.
Does anyone know of any tutorials for this specific purpose?
