Rendering 3D objects for iso
Hello !!
My friend has made some 3D objects for my iso game in 3D studio. Now I wonder how (under what angle) to render them to be suitable for an isometric tilebased game (tiles are 64x32) --> the same as described in TAN''s book.

if you target 0,0,0 and put the camera at 1,1,sqrt(0.5) then zoom out to what ever looks good
I''ve never done this, but try an isometric camera. This will take away the 3d''ness of it, and make it, well, isometric. Heh, never caught on to that one before right now... mmm, brain drying up. Later.
Hello !!!
Thanx for help guys!
Thrump: isometric camera you say......how can I access that isometric camera?? Somewhere in the 3D studio?? I am sorry if this is a lame question, but I don''t know almost anything about 3D studio - I just render objects there that others make
