Sorry but i am using the zip files as a pack file sort of setup that ID uses - unfortunatly wotsit file format thing has a broken link for its zip source sooo... I dont even have source to examine.

Its ok... i thought ur format was ZIP format at first but nice job with the API! I downloaded your thing and its pretty easy to use... its basically exactly how i was going to format my zip loader (i dont want to make a util to pak thats why i want to go with zip + compression is a real plus) xcept i was going to use classes with iostream type methods (so i ever want to load something from HD i just change class because it will have a base ADT).
