Fog of War
I''m new here so I might have missed it. But does anyone know of any good Fog-of-War articles/tutorials/bokks etc. that would explain the techniques used to implement a Starcraft-like Fog of War? I am referring to the smooth gradient Blizzard achieved in fading from observed areas to the black areas that have yet to be explored. It looks alpha blended to me but I''m not exactly sure.
