FYI, I have a job which consumes much of my time so can't sit around waiting all day for posts and figured option 2 in my other topic may seem more appealing. Let's try some clarity this go round. . . I am programming a video game and do not know how to design a skin for the characters. I cannot seem to find many tutorials that are of use online or seem to work for a program other than the 1 I posess. I am using the Autodesk Softimage Mod Tool 7.5 and would like some1 to give aid in teaching me how to use this program for skins. I have the UDK for motions and can already make the guy wave and such but I need to learn how to give them a skin. Please help me. And FYI, I am reading through the Tutorial topic.

Then, FYI, maybe a forum isn't the best place to be asking these questions.

If you edit your post, there's a checkbox you can set to notify you by email when somebody replies. Otherwise, just check the forum thread periodically. That's what a discussion forum is for. If you need real-time assistance, try asking in the IRC channel #gamedev on Afternet.

I think this is what you're after.

Edit: look at the bit on UV mapping. It's fairly brief, so you may want to look for more general articles on texturing characters and then try to apply their suggestions in XSI.
