Hey everyone, I started 3d max over the summer and have been continually modeling since. I have recently gone into the trend of creating actual rooms rather then just objects. These indoor interiors are quite the challenge for me, and I would really appreciate any feedback you guys would be able to provide.... Here are a few links to the Russian Nuclear Power Plant Generator Room. Any and all constructive criticism would be appreciated. 1: http://tinypic.com/m/6s59v7/2 2: http://tinypic.com/m/6s59wl/2 3 *my favorite* : http://tinypic.com/m/6s59xi/2 4: http://tinypic.com/m/6s59xx/2
Nice, you may want to let the 3d engine handle the shadow and light maps.

Didn't I? I just let 3d max render the shadows for me :P.
Looks good. The lighting builds a nice atmosphere. Are you going to texture it?
yes, it will be textured :D.
Looks great, maybe a little cramped depending on how big the player will be in contrast to the level.

Looks cool :D If you ever need any reference stuff for more Russian Nuclear Plants, I saw this page in a forum somewhere, has some seriously sweet pictures from inside one: (Warning: Tons of MASSIVE Pictures!) http://englishrussia.com/?p=2660 Even if you don't need references for any more projects, awe inspiring stuff, especially the controls about 2/3rds of the way down :) Cheers :D
