feeling a bit dull today (result of christmas drinks after work yesterday, shitty ozzie beer)
on average I drink ~once a week, normally 3 liters of wine
How often you drink?

But then, I'm brewing and trying to get into pro-brewing, so a lot of this drinking is "research". One of the contributing factors to me moving to the Philadelphia area was the great microbrew scene out here.
Awesome, I've just gotten into homebrewing in the last few months. What homebrew store do you go to?
I haven't bought any supplies since I moved out here. My one buddy shops at Keystone Homebrew Supply up in Montgomeryville. I've been in there a couple of times, their stock is fairly decent, and seems like it is relatively fresh. My last batch of hops I bought online. I tend to do more apple wines (though I still do beer), and for that I can get most of what I need from the grocery store.
Do you know about The Brewing Network? They have a pretty big message board and host a live radio show that they re-podcast where they discuss brewing and get obliterated.
I recently joined a homebrew club that meets in Lafayette Hill at the General Lafayette Inn. That's a lot of fun.
Sometimes I hang out at G.G. Brewery in Glenside. I've gotten to know the owner/brewer there and might end up doing some programming work for him. His beer is pretty hit or miss though, but hopefully it will get better soon because he is expanding his brewing capacity and starting with a brand new rig.
It might have been a good idea to stay in Chambersburg for a little while (ehn) because I was getting to know the owners/brewmasters at Roy Pitz. They were pretty impressed with my last apple wine, and I was going to start helping them out on weekend brew days (for free, that's pretty much the only way an amateur brewer can get into one of these places without a relevant degree). Oh well, not that big of a deal, they're fratboys to the T.
My buddy is getting hooked up with the brewers at the Manayunk Brewing Co, so he and I might start helping out on the weekends there.
So definitely getting the networking stuff down, just need to get more practice in. This is definitely a great area for craftbrew, I would probably rate it #2 in the country after Portland, OR.

Never.
I don't have anything against it. I just never have, nobody in my family does, and none of my friends do.
That said, the idea of getting drunk is not a very appealing proposition to me.

And I really can't see the point in drinking till you're drunk anyway.
You need to drink until you are drunk; you'll see the point then [grin]
These days I don't really drink at all; before I moved for work I'd at least have a few drinks every monday night (student/alt night in my home town) but since moving down here I don't really go out locally so don't have a chance to drink. I do head home each bank holiday weekend however so I can go on a monday for a few drinks, but that's pretty much it these days.
I find I don't miss it either; its nice to go out with friends when I'm back home, get a little drunk and spaced on caffine, but down here I prefer the clarity which comes from not having pickled my brain for a while.
I don't drink. Feel free to glace quickly at my "location" and rub your eyes in disbelief.

Hmmm, one of the pieces of information in your post must be a lie!
if not the universe makes no sense any more...

Clearly, you were either drunk when you made that post or when you set your location.

Do you drink? What you like drinking the most? What are the moments you best enjoy having a good booze?
Yes. Long Island Ice Tea. When I can relax and enjoy myself. I don't often get really intoxicated. Right now, I am alone and enjoying a nice, cold bud light lime.

I guess I envy you. In a sane (yet alcoholic) way... Being sober and being able to live up to it is a sign of strength.
I'm drunk right now, and I planned this yesterday night. So you see, I still have some issues to resolve.
