Now that I think about it the error message that comes up says this in not a valid Win32 application nothing about the 64 bit thing but I still don't know what that means.

Maybe you got a unix version or it's corrupted, or you didn't get one of the other packages you need to go with it. If you start your install over and carefully follow the directions about what packages to install in what order it will probably be fixed.

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.

Wow I'm all over the place here I remeber trying out inskape or what I thought was inskape and it came up with the error but turns out never ever downloaded inskape I downloaded like ten other things and never got that one don't know why I thought I did but I just downloaded it and it works great it might take a little getting use to but its an ok program.Sorry for my mistakes.

I use graphics gale personally, it's excellent for making pixel art.

Also, pixel art looks rigid? Please go here then slap yourself in the face:

I've said it before, I'll say it again: I think Photoshop is good. For everything.

I draw all my sprites in PS, and I prefer PS over 'dedicated' pixel art programs because (with all respect to masters of the ancient craft) I don't like to be locked into old-school 'pixel-art formalism', eg. restricted palettes and strict pixel-by-pixel drawing. It seems time-inefficient, at the least, and I'd maintain that the pixel-art feeling can be retained even with modern tools.

Coming from PS, I really didn't enjoy how primitive it felt to draw anything in ProMotion, for example -- But then this is definitely a case of me coming from a place where I've learned to draw everything with PS already. And admittedly, PS is pretty expensive - unless you can get a student discount.
