Are there any Black Friday deals out there, like for major software like Windows 7 or something. Most of the deals I see right now are low-end stuff or "selected items only" that stores are trying to get off their shelves. Nothing that I would actually want to buy anyway.
Nah.
Well I did get an email from Nero for Nero9 for like $40 and Zipzoomfly is selling Win7 64bit OEM for $164. $10 cheaper than Newegg but nothing spectacular.

If you are trying to get Win7 cheap and don't qualify for the cheap student versions I suggest getting the family pack version since that's your best bang for your buck version IMO.

If I had a choice, I would rather get the retail version than OEM version. OEM is just the plain ol' CD and nothing else. Retail is a shiny new box, and everything else included.
If you have a .edu email address, you can get Windows 7 for $29.99.
If you have an ipod or iphone and are looking for some good games alot of the classics like Galaga, frogger, etc are selling for 99 cents right now.

Those are some ridiculously cheap games!

That's incredible! (It's too bad I don't like any of them...)
