I dunno guys, I think the cat was just sleeping/stretching based on the pics. Or at least I'd like to think nobody would murder their cat over this [grin]

Some people really are amazingly cruel, whether in deed or thought.

What's the difference from all the animals that die each day for you to eat them? In many cases their fate are far worse than going to sleep (by medication) like the cat did.

Don't get me wrong, I can't put to words my feelings about the owner of this cat and the webpage, but don't pretend it's something new.

I was not pretending that this was shocking in a boy/girl eats cat fashion. As someone who's eaten dog (when I lived in China - once and unwittingly) I don't have a problem with that, an animal is an animal. But to maliciously kill a healthy creature in an attempt to punish someone else is sick. The whole part where she/he was lying to the vet in order to kill the creature was awful. Whether its true or not, that sort of cruelty is an awful truth to digest.

The cat in the "this is fuzzy" image looks quite old and blind to me, and the way it's sitting doesn't look quite healthy either.

Which makes me think that the real story is much more like this guy was going to have his cat euthanised anyway, but thought he could make a good prank of it just to see how many people on the internet would jump onto it. The cooking part is just the cherry on top.
This is a hoax. As you read down the site, they are telling people to "spread the word" by posting links to the site, emailing friends, etc. He also says to follow his twitter to get updates on Fuzzy. This is a completely transparent attempt to do two things:

1. Become an internet celebrity.
2. Get tons of people following his Twitter.

Just chalk this up as as an attempt to internet stardom. We are seeing it more and more often these days, and they are starting to take the form of chain letters ("Tell your friend about this").
