So I'm the only one here who has never heard of Miley Cyrus?

Nope, I don't have a clue who (s)he is!

Anyway, the thread title was chosen in jest, so calm down. I think everyone accepts that the premise is [hilariously] twisted - and struggles to understand the mind of anyone who could cling to something as mundane as a celebrity teenybopper's twitterings - but it's tragic and amusing no less.

I'm very calm. I only get aggravated when people tell me to calm down. I just prefer to use very strong wordings to express my opinions. But then again, a cat is involved, and that's enough reason to lose my calm.

The actress/singer behind Disney's "Hanna Montana", although she is moving out to her own singing career. She's the daughter of the country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. She's popular among some tween/teen boys who grew up fantasizing about her on television.

Google can tell you more.

Oh, fair enough, then - carry on.

I was hoping discourse would flow on into general discussion of society's obsession with celebrity, by-the-by, since this is at its heart an extreme example of such obsession.

What's the difference from all the animals that die each day for you to eat them? In many cases their fate are far worse than going to sleep (by medication) like the cat did.

Don't get me wrong, I can't put to words my feelings about the owner of this cat and the webpage, but don't pretend it's something new.

So, either it's a hoax, or some weird person just killed and ate their beloved cat for no reason....

Either way, slow claps.
By the way, reading the site is hilarious and completely implausible. Cat lovers (aka weirdos) need not worry.

Twit supposedly kills cat in pathetic attempt at emotional blackmail.

What's to discuss?

Now that's just damn bizarre.
