GameDev.net always gets more traffic than it can handle, although less so recently.

Yep i prolly wouldn't be in the industry now if it weren't for the help i received on this site over the years.

I am quite fortunate I found gamedev when I was really getting into game development, it has saved me SO many headaches :)

I stumbled on an article here when I was researching AI and artificial life for a school project ages ago. It's always a good source for insight and analysis.
