Hey, I''m not sure if this is the right forum to post this on, but what the hell. I''ve come to notice that whenever I open up MSVC++, the next time I boot up my computer, an error mesage always appears saying "There''s an error in the system registry. Press Ok to restore a backup of the system registry."--or something to that liking. Any other time I''m on my cpu, as long as I don''t open up MSVC++ to code, I can boot up normally the next time. I''m running the MSVC++ 6.0 Introductory Edition that came with a C++ book I bought. Could anyone offer any info/advice on this problem, like what exactly is the system registry and what is a possible solution to the error. Anywho, thanks for your time, peace
