I used to use glut before it was really elegant in handling inputs (key/mouse) and other events. if say I have a fixed seen or a forum I didn't need to always check for messages and thus keep the processor busy. Is there some way around this in window apps???

When you don't want to keep the processor busy I would recommend GetMessage
