Hang Gliding
Yay. Just signed up for my first lesson.
Any experienced hang gliders here who could tell me what to expect from my first lesson(s)? Exhaustion? Dizziness? Higher, higher!
You either believe that within your society more individuals are good than evil, and that by protecting the freedom of individuals within that society you will end up with a society that is as fair as possible, or you believe that within your society more individuals are evil than good, and that by limiting the freedom of individuals within that society you will end up with a society that is as fair as possible.
My only experience with hang gliding is on the ground watching others float above the cliffs at Torrey Pines. That said, have fun and stay safe!

A good friend of mine is really into hang-gliding. We went down to Peru together a year and a half ago, and he said that the cliffs over the shore near Miraflores in Lima was hands-down the most awesome place he's ever done it. We're thinking of going back for Christmas, and he's going to take me up with him. I'm pretty pumped about it.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
That's actually something that I've been wanting to try for a long time now. I'm deathly afraid of airplanes and (ironically as it's much more likely to kill me) hang gliding looks like it would be a lot of fun.
There's a school a few hours away from here, but I can never seem to get the time.
Let us know how it goes.
