So you're working on a game...

Hey there everyone. I've been working on a game for a year (as of a couple of days ago at most), and i've been doing pretty much everything myself. I'm still quite far away from having anything playable, but i've got a *lot* of progress. I've got over 110 source files, over 18k lines of code done so far, got the Core of the game mostly done, got a few tools done too, and i'm almost done with one of them, a Model Converter, after which i'll be working on yet another World Editor. But i've been wondering, it'd be nice if i had some help with the development of it's source. But as most of you know, it's hard to find someone who'll both help and not leave project for who knows what reason. Does any of you have some sort of guidelines i should follow while attempting to find someone to help with the code? You can find more information regarding my game at http://littlecodingfox.blogspot.com . Thank you for your time regarding this message, and have a nice day!

Unfortunatly, I cannot give you a good advice there besides the "be careful" hint. I've lost count of how many hours and resources I spent at work (back when I had one) to train the candidates... Since my plans to get a new job failed, I've started doing something myself until times improve. I have no plan to introduce other people to development of this project. I just got pissed off too many times. Programming skills are extremely rare here.

Make sure your search doesn't end up taking a large part of the effort. Really, be careful.
