Ha, ya they have a crap-ton of patches out for it. Do you have to download each one individually? I would think they have a way of going from patch A-Z, instead of A-B-C-D-etc.

They usually have one patch directly to latest major content patch, possibly followed by a smaller patch to the latest minor version also, if the big one doesn't take care of the minor versions also. Patching after a fresh install usually isn't much problem.

It was a 3.6GB patch, followed by a.... can't remember, maybe ~1GB patch? Then like a 10MB one or something. But yeah it's all done now. I'll be subscribing soon and you'll get your free month ^_^

I resubbed last month... it was a good 3.6Gb for the WotLK client + 800ish mb for the patch, and 3.2.0 has been released since which was another 400mb...

Oh yeah that's what it was. WotLK client, then major version patch, then minor version patch. That was -after- the 5 CD install lol. Seems a bit excessive.

The resurrect a friend is cool, the Refer-a-friend is even cooler. I'm doing that with a friend from work right now. It's awesome! 300% xp for kills and quests. Its WoW's 'easy' button. We're leveling a druid/rogue pair.

Quit shortly after TBC, re-rolled a NE druid (now lvl 39) on Lightbringer this weekend. First time playing alliance, co-workers paid to re-activate my account and payed for 3 months subscription not to mention they gave me 5k gold and will run any instance with me until I am geared for raiding.
