flash (URGENT HELP!)

would it be possible to create a character/prop in flash for a 2d game, animate it, and put it into a game that is not made in flash, if so, what file would i have to export it as, i have flash CS4 if that helps

also if i cant, what software should i use, and i know this sounds very, very noobish, but thanks for ur time anyway

Well... if you exported each frame as a transparent PNG, that's a standard sprite frame. I haven't used flash though so I don't know if it supports frame by frame auto-export, or will even make them into a sprite sheet automatically for you.

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.
