I can't think of anything other then video games...
I like photography. In my opinion, it's the perfect blend of technology and art.

I've been wondering if I have Asperger syndrome, though I can tell what other people are feeling based on facial expression so I'm not entirely sure if thats whats wrong with me.

CodaKiller, quick question: How old are you?
I've heard of people not liking music but I really think that it's rare. Listen to as many different genres as you can, you might find something that really piques your interest. You can't remember any piece of music in your past that sounded really good to your ears?
Everyone on here enjoys playing games (and making them). That's why we're all here on this site.
If you can't imagine yourself having fun with anything but video games (be it making them or playing them) it's time to let go of them for a while.
I have a challenge for you: don't get on your computer/internet or watch TV for a whole week. Instead, try something completely new to you (such as playing an instrument, kayaking, hiking, drawing, ANYTHING) that looks even mildly interesting every day of that week that you aren't on the computer. Hell, even if it looks boring, try it out.
For the longest time, I thought that golf was a boring sport. I hated watching it on TV, I hated watching people play it in real life. But then one day I went out on the course with a few friends and it turned out to be a lot of fun. Completely changed my perspective on the sport.

Yeah I guess your right, what could I learn thats appealing to most girls and is also useful for other things?
Don't base your interests on what is appealing to girls. Base your girls on what is appealing to your interests.
Music, movies, books and school are expected to be easy conversation. Unless you live in a cave I'd be amazed if you're ignorant enough of these things to be unable to hold any conversation about them.
What was the last film you saw? What was your opinion of it?
I really don't understand why people like to read story books, they simply bore me and don't seem to have any useful information.
I really don't like much music.

I like video games because I enjoy them and like making them.

Well, if you did feel like reading, and learning a new hobby at the same time, and meeting chicks, there's always How to Pick Up Girls by Reading Their Palms.

Get a camera then. Join a photography club, go outside and shoot random pictures, tell girls you like how they look in the light and if you can take a pciture of them. Would be a easy way to talk to dozens of girls in a day if you wished.
Seriously though you need to turn the computer off and go outside. Computers are nice and all but they seem to quickly converting the world to a introverted mass. Game programming is my job but I spend very little time on it outside of work. I have several hobbies that require group effort so it gives a nice balance.
You really don't want a hardcode gamer/programmer for a girlfriend either. Unless your idea of fun is sitting next to each other on seperate computers sending IMs back and forth. You want somebody who likes playing video games as a hobby but doing other things as well. If you have a clone of yourself for a girlfriend all you will end up doing is wanting to kill each other as you are together all the time.
If you go to college or university its pretty easy to talk to girls. Just go over to one you like on the same course as you and say "hi im ..., how did you find that dissertation we had to do?" open with something general like that and maybe follow up by looking them straight in the eye and give them a small compliment. If girls feel good when talking to you they will want to be around you more often. If you know a girl who is struggling with something then give her a hand. If she is moving flat say that you are free this weekend and offer to help her move things like that.

Tae Kwon Do has been a tremendous boost to me self-confidence. I'm sure any of the other martial arts could give a similar result. And there's always ">this.
You either believe that within your society more individuals are good than evil, and that by protecting the freedom of individuals within that society you will end up with a society that is as fair as possible, or you believe that within your society more individuals are evil than good, and that by limiting the freedom of individuals within that society you will end up with a society that is as fair as possible.

Just for the record, Codeka is not the OP [lol].
The advice given so far is pretty good. Or get new friends. If all they're into is the latest pop culture craze then they're rotting their brains on crap as badly as you are.
Video games tend to have something that they're based off of in real life. Dive into that. It tends to give more meaning to what you're playing and you'll have more stuff to talk about.
As for meeting women... well if you quickly find all your friends boring chances are pretty good you're gonna have the same problem with women too. If you can't be bothered to get into stuff that a woman's into, why should she be interested in anything you're into? Even then, that's just the start.
