So, summer vacation has properly begun and 1 week into it, I already ran out of ideas on what to do. For now, most of my friends are all occupied with their own shit: A couple bought a house and constantly doing things related to that, one friend's brother came back to the Netherlands so he'll be spending time with his bro till somewhere next week and another few friends are outside the country... So, I'm at a loss and I really want to enjoy my vacation. So, any ideas? Toolmaker

Why do you require other people to have fun?

I'm not saying you have to be a loner, but read a book series, pick up an instrument, see a movie ... alone - GASP!

Or, just pick up WoW at your local gamestore. =)

Actually, I don't really need other people. I go out by myself often enough. In fact, I'll be leaving for Ireland for a month of vacation all alone. I'll meet up with some people half way, but most of the time I'll be travelling alone.

I should have you executed for this one ^_^.

Help your friends on their house issues, if they allow. It gives you some (usually fun) time to spend with you friends, and at the end of the day you have that satisfying feeling of having done manual labor.

Apart from that: write a retro shooter. There's not enough of them around, me thinks.
