Tileset Creation
Hey guys
I want to create some 2D art for a game I'm busy with. The thing is, I want to use a tileset creating program where I can draw what I want in a tile of my specified size etc.
As well as, a wider range of colours (more than 16). I have a tileset program (TileSetMaker) which is perfect, but it only offers 16 colours for the palette. I want a sort of RGB selection thang, like in Photoshop.
Ok, a sort of long list of requirements, but are there any programs out there like this? Or is there some method of creating tiles in Photoshop?

The only difference between photoshop and TileSetMaker is TSM doesn't let you color outside of neat little boxes. Either you can choose to just not draw images bigger than the size you want, or you can resize your Canvas to however big (or small) you want it to be.

You can use MS paint. I don't see the problem here. Just make a 16x16 pixel (or however large a tile size you want) neon green square or box, and then draw your tile over that. You're guaranteed to have a 16x16 tile when you're finished.
You can also set the canvas size in MS Paint or in Photoshop, to have it let you paint in only the size of whatever tile size you specify.
