- I have two PC''s linked through a LAN. One is an old Win95 box, the other is a newer Win98 box. I want to use the setup to test remote apps, though for other reasons I dunno if that will work yet. The Win98 box has J Builder 4 installed; can I copy the Java runtime files onto the other machine directly, or is there some installation procedure that must be done? ---(I don''t remember that the Borland disk lets you only install the runtimes themselves, and the old PC is s-l-o-w and only has a 1 gig HD....)--- Do the files have to be put in the same place they are in Win98, or somewhere different (in Win95)? -And lastly, where are the runtime files located in JBuilder4? - Lubb
RPD=Role-Playing-Dialogue. It's not a game,it never was. Deal with it.
Hi!

You must install the Java Runtime on the 2nd machine. If I remember correctly, it´s v 1.3 that´s included with JBuilder 4. Download the Java Runtime Environment from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/
