I don't know if this is the proper section of the forum for this but it is related to artwork management. After checking out the following article on the site : Managing Digital Assets in Game Development I've been looking for a decent DAM software but apparently Bulldog either does not exist anymore or became EMC Documentatum DAM Solution. All the DAM solutions I found, so far searching on google, are uber expensive business solutions and nothing seems to be really affordable or even free. I don't mind paying a few bucks if absolutely necessary but I'd like to keep it free/open source if possible. Is there anyone who has a suggestion for a DAM solution ? Thanks !

Could Adobe Lightroom do the job or is that completely different ?

I fear it might be too photographer oriented and not suitable for what I want.
