Lighting is horrible
Wow! I''m having such problems with lighting, and I''m not sure where they''re coming from...
Some, like light attenuation, I''ve attributed to my hardware, but currently I''ve got a problem with ambient lighting in my scene.
In the scene, there''s an ambient light : (almost straight from the Red Book)
GLfloat lmodel_ambient[] = {0.2f, 0.2f, 0.2f, 1.0f};
glLightModelfv(GL_LIGHT_MODEL_AMBIENT, lmodel_ambient);
The problem is this : The light on my tanks seems to change depending on the camera position, but I don''t see how this can happen if it''s a global, ambient light, which should affect all objects the same, regardless of the camera position.

Thanks, that worked.
I didn''t realised I still had LIGHT0 enabled.
I don''t think all my lighting problems are solved, but for the mean-time I''ll just get the ambient light correct.
Thanks a lot
