What amazes me is that the effects the kid is experiencing rise almost mechanically ordered. The part he screams he is experiencing a suddent raise of adrenaline, probably because he gets angry for not being able to control what he is doing, and after that he got suddently depressed. A classic state of drunkness.

Definitely. Take a deep look at the kid's face when he sees his father is laughing at him. 2 seconds after that he almost jump over him screaming like Brave-Heart.
