Lately, I've been looking into going to some gaming events/conferences to attend so that I can meet people in the industry and build up my "rolodex" or "contact list". I've wanted to do so in the past, but never got the chance to do so until now. If everything goes well, I'll be moving back to Seattle in a few weeks (or less is I'm fortunate!) and in the mean time, I'm looking for industry events to attend. I'm aware of the GDC Canada and E3 events comming up, but are there any more? It doesn't really matter what time of year it takes place either. Oh yeah, is there anything game related happing in Seattle anytime this year? Thanks.

Nah, no one goes to Seattle.

I'm trying to get a booth there this year. Might be under the name of my university, might be part of the PAX 10, might be me holding a cardboard sign under some stairs... but I'm going to try and get a booth.
