I just randomly came over this: photic sneeze. I never noticed it in anyone and don't have it myself. Does anybody here have it? (I'm always fascinated by odd things like that. If it is present in 20+% of people, how come I never noticed that with anyone)
I tend to get this a fair bit, oddly enough I only put it down to a reflex action after someone else brought this up on GameDev 3-4 years ago.

Usually happens for me in summer when leaving poorly lit homes/shops into direct sun light so most people would probably think it's hay fever, which might be why you don't tend to notice it.

I don't sneeze with the changing in light intensity, but I do when I get aroused. Other blood pressure changes do not make me sneeze, though.

I sometimes sneeze when going out into the bright light after being in a relatively dark room for a while.

I get this alot. So do my friends.

I'd say it's more common for me when I've been inside my house for a whole day.
It does cause me issues when driving, sometimes.
I have it. It's most notable when exiting a building into the bright sun, or suddenly turning and facing the sun.

When I was little, I used to think that's why you said "gesundheit!", because I thought it literally had something to do with the sun.

It was a while before I realized it didn't happen to everyone, or that gesundheit is, you know, German...

EDIT: It also makes airplane spotting a huge pain, which sucks when you like jets and you live next to an air force base.

Yep, happens to me.
I definitely have this too. I actually thought it had something to do with my sight - I'm visually impaired and my eyes are extremely light-sensitive. No-one else I know seems to have it, so I just put two and two together.
hmm, I thought this happened to everyone. :P yeah I sneeze sometimes when I turn on the light in the morning in the darkness.

That makes sense as auditive-lacrimal-nasal-oral ducts are somehow connected.
