I see people posting in the Lounge all the time about advice for how to make their resumes better. If you live in the U.S., my dad's starting a series of job-hunt coaching conference calls tomorrow, and the first few are free (since there may be bugs to be worked out with the system before he gets really rocking). Anyway, just a heads-up if you're interested. Here's the newsletter I just got from him: The first free resume and networking conference calls in the history of the world (sort of) At least they are the first free conference calls I've hosted on resumes and networking. For 16 years I've been helping people perform job search miracles. I have helped folks with "no response" resumes get jobs in a matter of weeks. I do personal coaching on job search and charge $1690 for 10 sessions over a 6 week period. Coaching options I want to see if I can help more people. So I am putting together a coaching package that will include personal help, conference calls for training, calls for questions, mp3 audio files, books, and an online forum. You can participate in the first few calls for free. I'm working out the bugs. There may be glitches. So you don't have to pay the $890 fee to get in on the first few calls. Tomorrow (Friday) at noon eastern time I will be doing a free conference call on effective resumes. Monday at noon eastern time I will do one on networking. Send an email to firstconferences@agicc.com and I will send you the phone number and PIN number for the live call. I will also send out another phone number and PIN after the calls so that you will be able to get a replay of the call for free for a few days. If you have any questions, send them in.
