I'm looking for a free model simplifier. I tried NVIDIA Melody, but they removed the simplification feature. Basially, I want to generate low-polygon models with parallax mapping from high-polygon models. Can someone recommend me some tools?

Use blender(www.blender.org), it's a free 3d modelling tool containing polyreduction tools (one script and one modifier).
